يعتبر الأنيلين من مركبات البتروكيماويات المهمه والتي تنتج تجاريا و له صيغة كيميائيه C6H7N. وهو من أبسط وأهم الأمينات العطرية، ويستخدم كمركب أولي للمواد الكيميائية الأكثر تعقيدًا. ويستخدم بشكل أساسي في تصنيع عديد إيثان اليوريا.وكما هو الحال في معظم الأمينات الطيارة، فإن الأنيلين يمتلك نوعا ما رائحة غير سارة تشبه رائحة السمك الفاسد وطعم عطري محروق، وهو سم لاذع بشكل كبير. وهو يشتعل بسهولة، ويحترق بلهب ذي دخان. ( مرجع http://ar.wikipedia.org/) جاءت القيمة التجارية الكبيرة لاكتشاف الأنيلين بسبب جاهزية الحقل الذي سيستخدم فيه، وهو صناعة الأصبغة والجلود وهومركب أولي لتصنيع العديد من الأدوية، مثل الباراسيتامول (تايلينول). ومن الناحيه السلبيه فان هناك من يرى ان الأنيلين احد السموم فسم الانيلين (ANILINE – C6 H5 NH2) له خواصه كسائل زيتي مصفر ويذوب في الكحول والبنزين وفي حمض الهيدروكلوريك وله استعمالات عديدة في الصناعة مثل صناعة الصياغة وصناعة المطاط والكيماويات ويستعمل أيضا لإنتاج البلاستك، والعقاقير الدوائية والعطور وإعطاء النكهة لبعض الأطعمة ويوجد ملح الانيلين الذي يسمى هيدروكلوريد الانيلين (ANILINE HYDRO CHLORIDE ) على هيئية بلورات بيضاء C6 H5 NH2 HCL اضغط للقراءة

Making availability of adequate quantity and good quality of potable water is an imperative priority for the Kingdom of Bahrain. Till late seventies, the Kingdom’s water requirements were met entirely by ground water from Dammam aquifer. With the view to conserve the scarce water resources, the government directed its effort to develop the non-conventional sources of water by constructing adesalination plant in 1974.
